POETHETIC PATHOGENS
(A Michaux Inflammation)

A new performance inspired by Henri Michaux's asemic poems.

For this piece, I adhered a rectangular black paper, composed of nine layers, to the wall. Using a scalpel, I drew a vertical line down the center of the rectangle and repeated the action, cutting until a groove formed in the white wall beneath.
